Holiday Bible Club
The sixth form block at Willink was filled with the sound of children praising God during the week of 17th August, as Burghfield and Mortimer churches joined together to run a Holiday Bible Club for local children, under the auspices of Lighthouse, who now support nearly 20 groups around the country. Around 50 children joined to learn more about Walking Talking Jesus, with Discovery teaching time, craft, drama and sport as well as fun and interactive whole group sessions sharing games, songs and drama (Main Stage). It was run by a large number of volunteers (who also had a brilliant time!) and it was lovely to see the children having such fun while learning more about Jesus and the message of the Gospel. We are very grateful to all who supported us in any way and look forward to doing it all again next year!
